My name is Josef (Sepp) Beck, and I’m 68 years old. My Susquehannock name is Painted Fox.

My spiritual path is as follows: at the age of 30 years I was taught how to dowse, and I support people with my knowledge about dowsing and help them to find underground watercourses underneath their houses or offices, put up protection devices and stones and minerals so that they can work or sleep better.

I am a healer. I heal with my hands and with energy, and stones.

In December 2001, I started learning about general spiritual and shamanic in a long-term course, in which I learned about natural earth-based spirituality.

In spring 2008 I met Daniela Fink from Blue Jay. Since then I’ve participated in different teachings. I started with the Medicine Wheel Teaching and Dancing Thunder. Since then I’ve done various courses such as the Spirit Calling Stone Ritual, 3-Stone Ritual, Trauma Healing, Weaving Magic & Self Healing, Snake Medicine, Deanimation, Creating Altars and Making Offers, Sacred Ground, Bringing into Life Ceremony, Initiating a Drum, Medicine Lodge, Sweat Lodge Rituals (deer lodge, medicine lodge, traditional Susquehannock tribal lodges and several other totem lodges). We were taught the series White Spirit Wolf lodge, Twelve Eagles Lodge, Red Horse lodge. I’ve just started the Healing Methods Program with Dancing Thunder and 5 other shamans. I’ve also participated in a one-year program with the Siberian shaman Ahamkara which included a trip that took place last year to the Altai in Siberia.
